Peter Brooks has 35 years of experience in the commercial and retail, real estate industry, completing over 500 lease and sale transactions in all 50 states. Notable completed transactions include Bank of America, TD Bank, Otis Elevator, McDonald’s, Planet Fitness, Michaels Stores, Marshalls, Aldi, Bobs Discount Furniture, Dollar Tree, Ocean State Job Lot, Carrier Corporation, BJ’s Wholesale Club, Chuckee Cheese and Shop Rite.

Peter began his career as a Commercial broker in Rochester, New York and after several years joined Benderson Development in in Buffalo, New York as a Leasing Agent leasing shopping center space in the mid-west and south-east regions. After many years Peter advanced his career as a Senior Leasing Representative for Konover Management in Hartford, Connecticut. After a sale of the KMC shopping center portfolio, Peter became a Regional Real Estate Director for Texas Roadhouse covering multiple states in the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic regions. Later Peter served as an Account Director at Cushman & Wakefield servicing the United Technologies (UTC) worldwide real estate portfolio. Before founding BGRE Peter was Real Estate and Construction Manager for 7 years of a 75-unit franchisee of Dunkin Brands operating in 3 states.

Peter earned a B.S. in Finance, from Syracuse University, is a Senior Certified Leasing Specialist (SCLS) through the ICSC, and is a CCIM.
In addition, Peter holds a certificate in Construction Management from the University of Hartford.
